Apple's Steve Jobs stands to make around $US3.5bn, and become the major shareholder in Disney, when Disney approves a takeover of Pixar, according to the UK Telegraph.

Mac Intel Computers - no OS9 or Classic- (Monday 16th January 2006)
Rosetta is "transparent" software designed to translate current Mac OSX applications that run on a Mac with a G3 or G4 processor to run on the new Intel chips which are part of all new Macs. Rosetta does not run applications built for OS9, or the Classic environment. (These will be on the next DET iMac rollout).
Flip4Mac- (Monday 16th January 2006)
A free plug-in that will play Windows Media files (.wma and .wmv) in QuickTime Player and view Windows Media content on the Internet using a web browser.
