New Student Report Cards Dispute in Court

Today, the dispute between the State Government and the NSWTF over student report cards was before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission. The parties will have further discussions on Thursday and Friday, before another hearing set down for Wednesday 8th March.
NSWTF Opposes New Student Reports

The NSWTF has advised members that schools should continue to use their own reporting system. According to the NSWTF, many of the reporting requirements being proposed are professionally and educationally unacceptable.
SeaMonkey 1.0 Released

Mozilla.org now appears to be focussing on the development of Firefox and Thunderbird. Schools using Mozilla Composer should check out the Sea Monkey project.

Hidden Info in the Mac OS X Login Window

NSWTF Advice to Schools re SIBE

The NSWTF advises that the introduction of the Secure Internet Browsing and Email service has important implications for all teachers. Their advice is provided to assist members to make informed decisions about the use of this service.

Federal Grants to Schools
