It's official - Apple will include technology in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac. Called Boot Camp (for now), you can download a public beta to experiment with on your Intel Mac.

Provides some major fixes, according to the Apple overview. Including auto-shutdown from the login window, and a fix for MS Word saving to networked Home directories. Hopefully the blue screen at logout too!
NSWTF Year 10 CSA Bans Lifted

Following developments in State Parliament, undertakings given by both the DET and the Education Minister, and feedback from schools, the NSWTF Executive has lifted the ban on the Year 10 Computing Skills Assessment (CSA) test.
Easy School Reports - Online Demo

With the new DET student reporting system generating much discussion in schools, the Sentral people have put a demo of their server online, including the ESR student reporting module. Gives staff in schools without a Sentral server a chance to try it out, with the server automatically resetting all info every hour. I will advise when a similar online demo of the DET's "official" student reporting software is also available!
