An oldie but a goodie! The First Fleet Online database consists of information about the convicts who were transported to Australia in 1787. It contains a database of the First Fleet convicts; background notes, diary extracts, stories and letters of the time.

NewsDay 2005

Newsday is a classroom simulation where students produce their own newspaper, to real deadlines, using live news, and writing for a real audience. Students will write articles and post them on the Newsday web site for everyone to see. They read and choose articles from other schools, to download and include in their own news production.
e-LAPS Bans Lifted

After extensive negotiations, the NSW Teachers Federation has agreed to lift the bans on the electronic Leave Application and Processing System system. However the bans on training for, and implementation of, Webservices in schools and TAFE remain in place.
