Get Off My Back!

An online collaborative Maths project for Years 5-9. The project will explore the affects that heavy backpacks have on the growth and development of student posture and identify safe backpack weights. This project will join students from around the globe in a common investigation about backpack safety while studying about statistics, graphing, percentage and ratio. Register before April 30th.

Nvu - Latest release

iPhoto Library Manager

This utility provides access to multiple photo libraries, and allows multiple users to share a common photo library - such as on a school photo server. Thanks to Dennis Ross (remember him?) for spotting this one!

Mac OS X 10.3.8 Update

Looks interesting - "like iTunes for your Mark Book"! Australian-made Marks automatically calculates class statistics, rankings, weighted and moderated marks etc. (OSX 10.2.8 or later).

DET T4L Rollout Specs Now Available (Intranet access reqd)

Now includes details of the specifications of each of the rollout vendors' computers for each of the "point" offerings. Desktops, servers and laptops.

OnyX 1.4.9 - System Maintenance (Mac)

OSX system housekeeping is carried out automatically (daily, weekly and monthly) in the early hours of the morning. If your computer is off, or asleep, this houskeeping is not done. OnyX will run these tasks manually, as well as providing a GUI interface to some other useful stuff.
