Windows XP Service Pack 2

Whatsize? (Mac)

Quickly measure the size of a given folder and all subfolders and files within it. The files and folders are automatically sorted by size, with the biggest sizes first. Great tool for discovering the space-hogs on your OSX server!
Home Directory Helper (Mac)

A Mac OS X utility that performs a number of tasks on user home directories, such as copying or deleting of files or folders in each user's home directory, setting permissions on user home directories, and usage reports for home directories.
DET Finalises Mac OS X License

NSW DET has entered into a schools licensing agreement with Apple Australia. The agreement will provide a one off upgrade for approved Mac desktops and servers to OSX 10.4. (DET Intranet Access required).
iBook Stampede!

A rush to purchase $50 used laptops from schools in Henrico County turned into a violent stampede on Tuesday, with people getting thrown to the pavement, beaten with a folding chair and nearly driven over.

Webservices Funds Should Remain Untouched

From the NSWTF site: "The webservices program is banned. This includes training and information sessions. Tied funds for the implementation of Webservices have been placed in every school's bank account. Federation advises schools to leave the funds untouched in the bank".
Year 10 CSA Tests Banned

From the NSWTF site: "A ban has been placed on the 2006 Year 10 Computing Skills Assessment. All schools currently involved in the 2005 trial Computing Skills Assessment are directed to withdraw from the trial. The Webservices ban remains in place."
