The ABC Science site tackles the really big questions... Are we a nation of 'silent and deadlies' or 'machine gunners'? And how much do baked beans really increase your faltulence? Complete the online survey by Friday 30th July! (It must be OK - its the ABC, after all!)

Whirpool - Broadband Choice
(Wednesday 3rd June 2004)
Many entry-level plans (200Mb limits) are a rip-off, with outrageous "over-limit" charges pushing up monthly costs. Use the Whirlpool site to compare providers. Current best entry-level plan (IMHO) is Exetel - $25/month, 256k, 1GB included (unlimited 1:00am - 8:00am), fixed IP, 6 month contract. See also Wazza's Comparison Chart for long term costs for different plans at 1 or 2 GB per month downloads.
