Sydney Morning Herald report provides an overview of, and some early
reactions to, the recently announced NSW DET restructure, which
involves an amalgamation of TAFE and schools, "removing duplication

On Friday
Microsoft officially dropped development of Internet Explorer for
Macintosh. The company will release an update for the OS X version
of the browser that will have security and performance enhancements,
but no new features. See Wazza's Latest
Web Browser Downloads for some (better) alternatives.

AppleWorks 6.2.7 updater is for the International UK version (which
should work with our Aussie stuff), and speeds up a number of AW
processes, along with a few bug fixes. Updates OS9 versions to 6.2.5.

3.0.3 was released yesterday and addresses a myriad of issues (including
a PAL/NTSC option), plus you'll need to have Quicktime 6.3 and iTunes
4.0.1. Over 100 Mb to download - those new 2Mb broadband links are
great!

site has been developed to support teachers in the educational use
of information and communications technologies (ICT). The latest
addition to the site includes a scope and sequence document for
ICT skills. This snapshot documents one method used by a primary
school to develop a scope and sequence of ICT skills involving the
whole staff and focusing on skills as they appear in current K&endash;6
syllabus documents.
