The DET
Internet Service Provider (ISP) project is a NSW
government initiative to provide staff and students at
NSW schools and TAFE colleges with individual email
addresses and Internet access.

have joined forces to provide a series of seminars
focusing on the latest desktop computer equipment,
laptops, networking equipment, and peripherals for use
in schools. The Wollongong leg of this roadshow will
be held on Tuesday 26th February at Port Kembla Golf
Club.

to manually setup MS Word X, then Save the default

great image editing utilities for the Mac. Both
available for OSX. GraphicConverter
(shareware)
is also available for OS9.
PixelNhance
is only available for OSX, and integrates neatly with
iPhoto.

WebMail Upgrade

The DET
WebMail system was upgraded during the holidays,
providing some improvements to the system, most
notably the ability to create personal distribution
lists.

software downloaded from the DET AntiVirus page.
