Part of the Apple iLife suite. Very simple to use, and includes many features previously available only in image editors and desktop layout applications. (You will need a .Mac account to use some of the features.)
Sandvox (Mac)
Another theme-driven package, similar to iWeb. Includes some unique themes and built-in ftp. Fully WYSIWYG. (See also SVDesignMiner to edit SV templates.)
RapidWeaver (Mac)
Similar to the above two, providing some "under-the-hood" access for those with html experience. Editing is not full WYSIWYG (switch to preview mode reqd). Includes full ftp.
Goldfish (Mac/Win)
Similar concept to Sandvox/RapidWeaver, but not quite as intuitive.
ShutterBug (Mac)
Template-driven site-builder originally designed for photographers to display their work.

Weird Characters in iWeb Sites
- Some older web servers (like the NSW DET web server) display characters like Â, ’ or other strange Latin letters where spaces and punctuation marks should be, in sites created using iWeb. This site describes how to fix this problem.
Word Cloud Analysis
- A word cloud is a visual depiction of frequently used words in your web site. It illustrates keyword density using font size. The more often a word appears on your site, the larger it appears within the word cloud.
