On your iPhone, or iPod Touch or iPad, navigate to the screen that you want to capture. You can capture any browser or app window. |
Hold down the Home button (the main button below the screen), and simultaneously press and release the sleep/on-off button at the top of the iPhone or iPod Touch. (The sleep button may be on the left side on some models.)
Your screen will flash white for a second (along with a camera shutter sound on iPhones) then return to the original screen. |
The captured screen image will be saved to the iPhone Camera Roll album or the iPod / iPad Saved Photos album.
Return to the main screen, and click on the Photos icon to navigate to this album and see the screen shots that have been saved. |
Sync your iPhone/iPod/iPad with your computer. (This process assumes that you have configured iTunes to sync your photos with an iPhoto album.) |
The saved screen shots will now be accessible from within iPhoto. From there can then be added to any document, presentation, or web site. |
Other applications can be used to edit and annotate the saved images as required. |
