Setting up Mac OS X 10.3 Server
Note: Mac OS X 10.3 Server is no longer a supported system. These documents are now out-of-date, and are provided only for those with an interest in legacy systems or software.

These documents provide a basic step-by-step guide for teachers setting up an OSX Server in a school environment. The documents below are by no means comprehensive, nor prescriptive! Each document is in pdf format.

Set a variety of user-specific preferences for each new user.

7. Win XP Workgroup (290k)
Access OS X server from Win XP in local Workgroup

8. Win XP Domain (450k)
Setup OS X server to be a Domain Controller for Win XP computers.

9. Client Configuration (500k)
Setting up your clients to login to the server.

10. Server Backup (750k)
Use Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC) and an external HD for a reliable, low-cost backup for server volumes.
