Mullum Writers

Every month at Mullumbimby Public School, teachers choose a piece of writing from each stage which typifies not only quality of work, but also the selected students' capacity to "have a go". You can also listen to the students reading their stories!
Doodle 4 Google Competition

Google are asking students in Years 1-10 to communicate their own image of Australia and what it means to be Australian using the Google logo. The overall winner will have their doodle featured on the Google Australia homepage on Australia Day 2008. They will also receive $10,000 worth of technology equipment for their school as well as a Macbook Pro for themselves. See also some examples of previous Google holiday logos.

Researchers are now suggesting that advice about not posting personal information on the Internet, however well-intentioned, doesn't necessarily make children safer from predators and related threats. Also discussed at the Medical News Today site.
