Web 2.0 technology makes it easy for people without vast technical expertise to publish and edit web sites, using nothing other than a web browser.
"Feeds" from Web 2.0 sites can now be easily embedded within your school web site.
But why would you want to do this?
Imagine that you could setup your school's web site so that multiple people could maintain different parts of it, by editing an external site that automatically updated the content on the school's site.
For example, the Principal could maintain the School News page, another teacher could maintain the Photos page (maybe a slideshow of students' work samples?), and the SAS staff could maintain the School Calendar - all without actually touching any files within the school's main site.
